Senior Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Create and manage MEP BIM models for both residential and mixed-use developments.

• Engage in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting system design.

• Conduct clash detection, design coordination, and system validation activities.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to project standards and international regulations.

• Assist in design evaluations and enhance project feasibility through synchronized BIM processes.

• Work with cross-disciplinary teams, including Product Management, Software Development, and QA, throughout the entire product lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering field.

• At least 7 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, particularly concentrated in BIM.

• Practical experience with Autodesk Revit for MEP and/or Fire Protection projects.

• Background in MEP design and BIM modeling.

• Experience in delivering technical training, product demonstrations, or onboarding sessions for customers.

• Validate BIM workflows and ensure software functionalities are in line with Autodesk Revit standards and engineering practices.

• Previous experience in providing technical support and resolving software-related issues.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Skilled in BIM 360 / Navisworks.

• Knowledgeable in HAP.

• Familiarity with SolidWorks is advantageous.

• Experience in Fire Protection design and NFPA standards is a significant plus.

• Proficiency in English is preferred.
