Mechanical Engineer – BIM, Fluent English Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional and technical assessments of BIM software to ensure its quality, precision, and dependability.

• Assess software functionalities in accordance with mechanical engineering specifications and BIM industry standards.

• Detect, document, and report any software bugs, defects, and technical challenges.

• Work in collaboration with Software Development and QA teams to diagnose and resolve reported problems.

• Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting for customer queries related to BIM software.

• Execute product demonstrations, customer onboarding sessions, and technical training.

• Create and update training materials, user manuals, and technical documentation.

• Validate BIM workflows and ensure adherence to Autodesk Revit standards and engineering practices.

• Collect customer feedback and relay product enhancement opportunities to the Product and Development teams.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of software quality, functionality, and user experience.

• Keep abreast of Autodesk Revit, BIM technologies, mechanical engineering practices, and industry advancements.

• Represent the company in a professional manner during customer meetings, technical discussions, and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

• Over 7 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, with substantial expertise in BIM.

• High level of proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.

• Deep understanding of BIM methodologies, workflows, standards, and coordination processes.

• Practical experience with MEP and/or Fire Protection projects.

• Solid knowledge of Revit Families, templates, and project standards.

• Experience in software testing, validation, QA, or defect reporting is highly desirable.

• Background in providing technical support, troubleshooting, or resolving software-related issues.

• Experience in delivering technical training, product demonstrations, or customer onboarding.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong skills in presentation, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
