📋 Description

• Take charge of comprehensive thermal and HVAC design automation for data center and industrial initiatives.

• Provide mechanical/HVAC packages that include cooling load computations, airflow and CFD evaluations, chilled-water and liquid-cooling frameworks, equipment sizing, P&IDs, 3D models, and construction documentation.

• Develop a parametric thermal/HVAC engine that produces deliverables from a singular parameter template for data center locations.

• Automate system sizing, equipment selection, thermal assessments, and design enhancements.

• Integrate mechanical designs with electrical and structural systems to ensure that modifications are reflected across all disciplines.

• Utilize AI coding agents, such as Claude Code, to create workflows and deploy code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and the trade-offs associated with cooling systems.

• Hands-on experience in constructing real physical systems, preferably first-of-a-kind products in settings such as Tesla, SpaceX, Joby, Anduril, Rivian, or similar organizations.

• Capability to deploy code using AI tools, even without a conventional software development background.

• Strong ability to navigate complex engineering challenges from fundamental principles to functional solutions.

• A PE license is not mandatory; it is beneficial but not essential.

• A Computer Science degree is not necessary.

• Direct experience in data centers, construction, or AEC is not a requirement.
