📋 Description

• Create original, technically sound free-response problems in mechanical engineering.

• Base questions in realistic industrial and professional contexts.

• Formulate problems that necessitate advanced multi-step reasoning, practical limitations, assumptions, trade-offs, and engineering judgment.

• Design scenarios that encompass mechanical design, engineering analysis, or R&D processes.

• Utilize advanced mechanical engineering principles, calculations, modeling techniques, physical assumptions, and design factors.

• Assess technical content for accuracy, realism, and internal coherence.

• Compose comprehensive expert-level solutions that detail calculations, assumptions, reasoning, methodologies, technical choices, and trade-offs.

• Guarantee that solutions are thorough, reproducible, independently verifiable, and deeply technical.

• Evaluate authored problems against multiple cutting-edge language models.

• Analyze AI systems for correct solutions, reasoning mistakes, calculation errors, and incomplete technical methodologies.

• Adjust questions to preserve a suitably challenging difficulty level.

• Confirm that problems effectively assess advanced mechanical engineering reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

• Minimum of 8 years of practical professional or industry experience.

• Significant experience in mechanical design, engineering analysis, R&D, or a mix of these areas.

• Strong understanding of advanced mechanical engineering principles.

• Experience in resolving complex technical challenges in professional engineering settings.

• Capability to translate real-world engineering issues into structured technical questions.

• Exceptional analytical reasoning and technical writing abilities.

• Keen attention to assumptions, calculations, and engineering validity.

• Research and academic expertise enhanced by practical engineering experience.

• Experience within a prominent industrial, aerospace, automotive, energy, manufacturing, technology, or engineering organization is preferred.

• Background in leading intricate mechanical engineering projects is preferred.

• Advanced experience in product development, simulation, analysis, or engineering R&D is preferred.

• Experience in creating engineering assessments, technical problems, training materials, or technical documentation is preferred.

• Proven record of solving open-ended engineering problems that require professional judgment is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI models or structured technical evaluation is preferred.
