Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

• 8-20 years of experience in engineering roles, with a considerable portion focused on managerial or leadership positions.

• Proficiency in rotary mechanical equipment such as Pumps, Air Blowers, Air Compressors, Agitators, and Mixers, as well as static mechanical equipment like Atmospheric tanks, Pressure vessels, and process mechanical equipment like Clarifiers and Thickeners.

• Skilled in process equipment including Screens, Clarifiers, Sludge thickening & Dewatering equipment, Media filters, Ultrafiltration, Cartridge filters, and Energy Recovery Devices for Brackish water and Sea water RO.

• Familiarity with package items like Chemical dosing systems, CO2 dosing systems, Chlorination systems, Diffused Air Floatation systems, and Dewatering Systems.

• Experienced with various types of valves used in process industries and the design of diverse metallic and non-metallic piping, including Super duplex, Duplex, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Ductile Iron, GRP, HDPE, UPVC & CPVC piping.

• Proficient in interpreting drawings such as Plant layouts, Civil guide drawings, Piping layouts, Piping GA Drawings, Piping Isometric Drawings, Pipeline profile drawings, and Tank & Vessel drawings, as well as Structural fabrication drawings.

• Experience with 2D drafting software like AutoCAD and 3D design review software like Navisworks, along with design software such as PV Elite (for pressure vessel design) and Caesar (for pipe stress analysis).

• Knowledge of various industrial design codes and material standards including ASME, API, ISO, HIS, AWWA & ASTM.

• Experience managing projects from the FEED stage, through Detail Engineering, EPC stage, to commissioning and project handover.

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
