This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create project proposals that encompass scope, schedule, and budget.
• Direct and oversee various commissioning project teams.
• Recognize project risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate costs and schedule variances.
• Manage project scope to adhere to contractual obligations and budget constraints.
• Ensure project alignment with company policies, standards, and client value expectations.
• Act as the primary client liaison and, when necessary, fulfill the role of Client Program Manager with business development duties.
• Assist in research for technical papers and industry presentations.
• Guide team members and promote training, development, and the creation of standards.
• Contribute to organizational planning and provide support for hiring initiatives as needed.
• Conduct inspections, validation, testing, and verification of systems and methodologies.
• Supervise the functional testing of equipment and electrical systems.
• Ensure that tasks and deliverables are finalized on schedule and within budget.
• Plan, schedule, and manage full life-cycle commissioning of essential facilities.
• Provide support for MEP design reviews and lead the functional testing of intricate electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and client teams to test, validate, and operate both new and existing electrical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field, or two years of experience in the installation, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure.
• At least 13 years of additional experience in installation, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading full life-cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
• Familiarity with MEP design reviews and functional testing of complex electrical systems.
• Experience in leading project teams on intricate initiatives.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Experience as the primary client contact.
• Background in business development responsibilities as a Client Program Manager.
• Experience in mentoring team members.
• Contribution to training, standards, and the development of policies/procedures.
• Strong understanding of electrical system principles.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and document management capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills for report preparation, problem evaluation, and implementing effective solutions.
• Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
• Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Competent in planning, coordinating, and delegating work responsibilities.
• Adherence to safety requirements.
• Ability to obtain NFPA 70E / OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications as necessary.
• Capability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to rent vehicles.
• Must reside near a major airport.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically, potentially to any or all 50 U.S. states.
• Must have a valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for domestic air travel related to the position.
