Senior Materials & Logistics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Manage comprehensive logistics operations encompassing inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and inventory control to guarantee timely material delivery to project locations.

• Collaborate with construction teams and suppliers to synchronize material delivery schedules with project timelines and milestones.

• Implement and oversee material tracking systems to ensure precise reporting of stock levels, usage rates, and reordering requirements.

• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all logistics and material handling processes.

• Enhance supply chain processes to lower costs, boost efficiency, and minimize delays or interruptions.

• Administer logistics budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall project financial strategies.

• Spearhead the creation of logistics contingency plans to address risks associated with supply chain disruptions, transportation delays, or material shortages.

• Assess and select third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements to meet project demands.

• Assist the procurement team by offering insights into lead times, delivery constraints, and supplier performance.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration among procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

• Establish and maintain logistics KPIs and dashboards to track performance and foster continuous improvement.

• Mentor and train logistics personnel to enhance capabilities and ensure compliance with best practices.

• Candidate must be based in Thailand.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in English and Thai, encompassing writing, reading, and speaking skills.
