This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Assist each regional service team in managing the Company’s agency distribution.
• Organize and oversee visits with other representatives from the Company.
• Facilitate and engage in the annual agency business planning process, regularly assess outcomes, and recommend actions when necessary.
• Manage all regional agency outings and marketing events, both internal and external.
• Promote the Company as the preferred carrier to new and potential agencies; advocate for new products and services and help identify opportunities for product enhancements.
• Seek, evaluate, and recommend agencies for appointment within the assigned territory to develop and sustain a profitable agency distribution network.
• Establish and maintain all new agencies within the Company’s database.
• Coordinate new agency orientation meetings and prepare all necessary materials for these meetings.
• Supervise the technical management of the Company’s Agency Agreement, Profit Incentive Plan, and commission plans within designated territories.
• Collaborate with the regional Agency Advisory Council by attending, planning, and participating in meetings.
• Oversee training and education programs for agencies and producers.
• Identify new initiatives for producer development.
• Take a leadership role in Company initiatives such as Return to Wellness, eaport, and Parallel Pay.
• Advocate for company technology initiatives with producers and customer service representatives; monitor the usage of CS STARS, eaport, and other technologies.
• Assist in the development of the region’s annual strategic plan.
• Help create and coordinate the annual regional marketing, public relations, and advertising budget.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing along with seven years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C).
• A multidisciplinary background in P&C with specific experience in marketing is preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships with agency partners and prospects.
• Competence in promoting and selling the Company’s products and services to the marketplace; capable of representing the Company professionally and making presentations to large audiences.
• Willingness to attend industry events to promote and convey a positive image of the Company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills to make profitable decisions regarding agency partners.
• Ability to analyze competitive markets, identify trends, and recommend strategies to remain competitive.
• Strong attention to detail in presenting information, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with various stakeholders at all levels, including agency partners, external customers, and clients.
• Willingness to travel regularly, approximately 40%, which includes frequent overnight trips; a valid driver’s license is required.
