Senior Marketing Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the firm's opportunity pipeline strategy and prioritize pursuits based on alignment, likelihood of success, and strategic importance.

• Develop data-driven recommendations to assist leadership in making final go/no-go decisions.

• Facilitate decision-making meetings with principals and business development leadership.

• Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform pursuit decisions.

• Collaborate with principals and project managers to formulate win themes.

• Manage proposals, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), and RFP responses to ensure consistency and quality.

• Create and maintain a content library containing boilerplate language, resumes, and records of past performance.

• Coordinate input from subconsultants and teaming partners with the bid project manager.

• Lead preparation for interviews, presentations, and coaching sessions.

• Establish and uphold proposal QA/QC standards.

• Enhance templates and processes to boost team efficiency and improve win rates.

• Collaborate with business development and principal staff to ensure proposal strategy aligns with business development objectives.

• Manage win/loss tracking and conduct lessons-learned debriefs.

• Communicate pipeline health and win rates to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in AEC proposals/marketing within an engineering firm, architecture firm, or general contracting environment.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience leading complex, high-value RFP/RFQ pursuits from inception to completion.

• Experience managing or working as part of a proposal team.

• Advanced proficiency in InDesign, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.

• Possess executive presence and the ability to engage effectively with principals.

• Excellent writing and editing capabilities to transform technical details into engaging narratives.
