This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete marketing agentic AI roadmap—from identifying opportunities and developing business cases to piloting, implementing, scaling, and optimizing in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Identify, define, and prioritize the most critical AI use cases for marketing—translating genuine marketing requirements into precise capability specifications, including inputs, outputs, constraints, and success metrics.
• Create and implement frameworks for evaluating the scaled value and impact of AI capabilities within the marketing organization.
• Differentiate between tightly controlled, workflow-driven AI use cases and more exploratory applications, directing how each should be applied and governed throughout the tech stack.
• Serve as the strategic link between marketing teams and internal/external technical partners—including IT, Commercial Operations, Sales, and Legal—to foster mutual understanding and sustain execution momentum.
• Rigorously evaluate proposed solutions for feasibility, durability, and long-term relevance as AI capabilities develop.
• Stay informed about AI innovations and determine how marketing can thoughtfully integrate new capabilities, while maintaining a feedback loop with internal stakeholders to influence the marketing agentic roadmap direction when necessary.
• Design, document, and govern marketing processes and standards (such as work intake, planning, campaign execution, measurement, and tooling workflows), identifying processes that can transition to AI and driving continuous improvement and consistent adoption across teams.
• Establish and manage AI project governance for marketing (including intake, prioritization, resourcing, stage gates, risk/compliance reviews, and success metrics) to ensure initiatives provide measurable business value.
• Oversee documentation and lifecycle management for marketing AI and operational processes (including use cases, controls, data inputs/outputs, change logs, and performance reporting) to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
• Advocate for change management, enablement, and adoption of new agentic capabilities and process changes through training, communications, playbooks, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that are intuitive, purposeful, and trusted by marketers—focusing on adoption rather than just technical feasibility.
• Create playbooks, enablement materials, and practical examples that assist teams in understanding how and when to effectively utilize AI.
• Establish feedback mechanisms with end users to incorporate the internal customer perspective into planning, implementation, and optimization.
• Maintain a proactive outlook on emerging AI capabilities—especially as agentic systems, skills-based orchestration, and new automation paradigms advance.
• Exercise sound judgment regarding when new capabilities are suitable for testing and application, bringing a long-term perspective to immediate decisions.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in marketing operations with an emphasis on process and technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in marketing operations, business systems, process optimization, agent delivery, and governance—ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of the practical workings of marketing teams—and the identification of friction, inefficiency, or opportunity within marketing technology stacks, system integration, and workflow design.
• Previous experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), Asana, HockeyStack, and/or 6Sense is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical teams by simplifying complexity, creating scalable processes, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without necessarily being the hands-on implementer.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity, with the discernment to know when precision and control are necessary versus when more open-ended, exploratory solutions are appropriate.
• A curiosity and confidence to explore new technologies—particularly agentic AI and automation—including experience in developing roadmaps, prioritizing use cases, and partnering to responsibly deliver AI initiatives.
• Recent experience in establishing lightweight governance models for AI/MarTech work (intake, stage gates, measurement, and stakeholder alignment) to enhance clarity, accountability, and adoption.
• Experience in change management and supporting teams through transitions with effective communication and assistance to ensure the successful adoption of new tools and processes.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to clarify, align, and influence across disciplines, and to convey complex technical concepts persuasively to non-technical audiences.
