This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute a detailed outreach and communication strategy for the developments, milestones, and resources of the VHA AI Education Hub throughout the Veterans Health Administration enterprise.
• Design engaging digital media assets, including online modules, animations, and data visualizations.
• Work collaboratively with Hub leadership, subject matter experts, and VA stakeholders to simplify complex AI and healthcare concepts into clear and accessible communications.
• Oversee and update the AI Education Hub web presence, ensuring content is current, Section 508 compliant, and functional across various devices and VA network environments.
• Produce and edit videos, infographics, newsletters, and presentations for VA intranet portals, email campaigns, and leadership briefings.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on outreach performance using analytics tools, providing data-driven insights to enhance engagement and communication effectiveness.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in marketing, digital media production, interactive design, or a closely related communications field is required.
• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card and fulfill background investigation requirements for VA systems and facilities is necessary.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is essential.
• Expertise in front-end programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
• Experience within a federal agency, government healthcare, or VA/DoD setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Section 508-compliant digital content and federal accessibility standards is desired.
• Knowledge of VA intranet platforms, including SharePoint, TMS learning management systems, or VA.gov is a plus.
• Experience in communicating artificial intelligence, data science, or health technology concepts to non-technical audiences is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is desired.
• Understanding of federal plain language standards and the Plain Writing Act is preferred.
