Senior Marketing Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create email templates and push notifications utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a variety of clients.

• Work alongside email developers and customer success managers to troubleshoot email deployment challenges.

• Engage in email stand-up meetings to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.

• Collaborate with client teams on inquiries, requests, and ongoing projects.

• Guarantee that emails adhere to client specifications, email marketing best practices, and compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations.

• Conduct testing of email messages using platforms like Litmus and Email on Acid.

• Develop CSS styling and integrate platform-specific dynamic logic within templates.

• Perform QA and test coding across various marketing platforms in collaboration with clients.

• Implement programs within marketing platforms and execute mock API calls using tools such as Postman.

• Manage edge cases and categorize users into distinct flows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in email production and development.

• Expertise in HTML and CSS tailored for email.

• Proficient in JSON.

• Familiarity with APIs and skilled in making GET and POST requests.

• Understanding of data feeds.

• Knowledge of email code structure and responsive design for various devices.

• Strong email etiquette with the ability to communicate directly with clients regarding testing, quality control, and updates.

• Capability to accept feedback, seek clarification, and adapt accordingly.

• Experience with platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift.

• Knowledge of Liquid, Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA.

• Proficient in using Photoshop and Figma.
