Senior Manufacturing Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Implement the Critical Manufacturing system and enhance its utilization across Vishay production facilities.

• Offer first-level assistance to local and regional CM Key Users.

• Diagnose system issues and manage escalation procedures.

• Ensure the seamless daily operation of the MES system.

• Assist in the expansion and enhancement of MES functional modules.

• Recognize opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and system usage.

• Collaborate with global and regional teams to execute enhancements.

• Provide training for shop floor users, engineers, and key users on MES functionalities.

• Create training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer across various sites.

• Promote adoption and best practices in the use of MES.

• Lead and assist in the transition from legacy MES systems to Critical Manufacturing.

• Ensure standardization of processes and data integrity throughout transitions.

• Coordinate with project teams, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Support system upgrades, new releases, and global MES initiatives.

• Engage in UAT, validation, and deployment activities.

• Ensure minimal disruption to production during system modifications.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in manufacturing systems may be accepted.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Critical Manufacturing (CMF) Key User or in a similar MES support role.

• Experience in supporting MES implementation and user assistance, including deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Preferred experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing settings.

• Experience in supporting production operations and improving manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with manufacturing system integrations and data flows.

• Highly desirable experience with SAP MM, PP, and ME modules.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Preferred experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

• Experience in participating in global digital transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Knowledge of manufacturing automation, Industry 4.0, or Smart Factory concepts is preferred.

• Experience in multi-site, global manufacturing organizations is preferred.

• Project management or change management experience is an advantage.
