📋 Description

• Lead a High-Performing Team: Coach and oversee a team of specialists tasked with planning and executing events, donor communications, campaigns, and fundraising operations within the cohort; promote strong collaboration with local fundraising teams and cultivate a culture of philanthropy reflected in every interaction, decision, and partnership.

• Design and Execute a Comprehensive Donor Relations Strategy: Establish the vision and direction for an exemplary donor relations strategy encompassing campaigns, events, content, and communications; take ownership of developing a persuasive core case for support and create a donor messaging framework that remains consistent across giving levels, audiences, and markets to enhance long-term stewardship and revenue growth.

• Partner to Set Revenue Strategy: Collaborate with VPFFs, Executive Directors, and local fundraising teams to translate regional priorities, strategies, and goals into a cohort-wide development strategy aimed at increasing revenue year over year.

• Manage Flawless Development Operations: Establish operational standards and create systems that may involve invoicing, CRM discipline, data management, and content organization, enabling local fundraising teams to maintain focus on donors and execute with excellence.

• Model Enterprise Leadership: Serve as an organizational steward, contributing to the selection of corps members and Ignite Fellows, as well as other enterprise-wide initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a multifaceted development and fundraising environment.

• Extensive expertise in donor cultivation, stewardship, and pipeline development across individual, corporate, and foundation streams.

• Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing ambitious revenue targets.

• Proficient in setting vision and leading the execution of complex, high-stakes fundraising events such as galas and benefit dinners.

• Skilled in creating compelling donor communications and campaigns for various audience segments; exceptional writer, communicator, and storyteller with a donor-centric approach.

• Proven ability to manage a diverse team across multiple functions with a clear strategy for talent development and maintaining high standards.

• Expertise in building campaigns that are scalable and adaptable to local needs.

• Proven capability to influence and foster alignment among geographically dispersed teams.

• Comfortable utilizing CRM data to track progress, identify gaps, and refine strategy.

• Ability to work closely with senior leaders to translate strategy into operational priorities.
