
Senior Managing Consultant, Corporate Strategy – Pricing & Go-to-Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead and direct strategic initiatives centered on pricing strategy, monetization of offers, design of commercial models, and formulation of go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with senior management, leaders of business units, offering teams, finance, sales, delivery, and various cross-functional stakeholders to assess business priorities and formulate recommendations that enhance growth, margins, win rates, and customer value.
• Perform market research, analyze competitor pricing and positioning, assess customer segments and purchasing behaviors, and evaluate the market landscape across managed infrastructure services, cloud services, software, and hybrid technology solutions.
• Create pricing architectures, packaging strategies, discounting methods, business cases, and action plans that yield measurable outcomes.
• Track the implementation of strategies and assess their effects on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue growth, margin improvement, adoption rates, retention, deal quality, and sales efficiency.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, comprehend Kyndryl's strategic priorities and objectives, and convert market and customer insights into clear commercial decisions.
• Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) in business, economics, finance, engineering, analytics, or a related discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, pricing strategy, go-to-market strategy, commercial strategy, or management consulting, with at least 4 years ideally within prominent management consulting firms or technology services/software companies.
• Proven expertise in developing pricing strategies for managed services, cloud services, software/SaaS, IT infrastructure, or hybrid technology offerings.
• Experience with value-based pricing, offer structuring, customer segmentation, discounting, price governance, contract frameworks, and commercial model design.
• Strong knowledge of recurring revenue, subscription, consumption-based, outcome-based, and managed services pricing models, including cloud cost economics and software licensing dynamics.
• Proficiency in constructing comprehensive business cases, price waterfalls, margin analyses, elasticity assessments, unit economics models, total cost of ownership models, and customer ROI frameworks.
• Experience in shaping go-to-market strategies, encompassing sales and channel motions, portfolio positioning, launch planning, customer segmentation, partner monetization, and KPI frameworks.
• Skilled in data gathering and synthesis, conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, customer investigations, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong abilities in critical thinking, data analysis, financial modeling, and structured problem-solving, with the capacity to clarify ambiguity into definitive executive choices.
• Capability to lead independent workstreams within broader corporate strategy initiatives and influence stakeholders across Offering, Sales, Finance, Delivery, Legal, and executive leadership.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for crafting executive and board-level presentations, pricing recommendations, decision memos, and implementation roadmaps.
• Extensive exposure to customer-facing or stakeholder-facing roles with strong commercial acumen, including an understanding of enterprise procurement dynamics, deal economics, and technology services/software sales cycles.
