
Senior Manager, Workday Systems β HR Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the primary authority and subject matter expert for the Workday platform and associated HR technologies.
β’ Oversee the administration, configuration, governance, and enhancement of Workday across all Human Capital Management (HCM) functions.
β’ Ensure optimal system performance, data accuracy, business process efficiency, and a favorable user experience.
β’ Develop and implement standards, procedures, and documentation for system administration and operational support.
β’ Provide strategic insight on Workday functionalities, best practices, and future solution strategies.
β’ Construct and execute the Workday roadmap in alignment with organizational and HR strategic goals.
β’ Identify process improvement opportunities, automate workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and boost operational efficiency.
β’ Direct system enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
β’ Oversee the creation and upkeep of Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, and workforce analytics.
β’ Manage system-related projects from requirements gathering to implementation and post-production support.
β’ Serve as the central point of contact between HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, business leaders, and external vendors.
β’ Mentor, supervise, and develop HRIS and Workday team members as assigned.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Workday administration, configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
β’ Proficiency across the Workday HCM suite, encompassing workforce management, talent management, recruitment, learning, total rewards, payroll support, time and absence management, reporting, security, and integrations.
β’ Strong comprehension of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and best practices in HR technology.
β’ Proven capability to lead complex system projects and manage competing priorities effectively.
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
β’ Experience in developing and maintaining workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
β’ Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
β’ Demonstrated project management and change management skills.
β’ Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technological solutions.
β’ Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be deemed acceptable.
β’ 7+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, Workday, or HR technology.
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering and supporting Workday.
β’ Experience in leading Workday initiatives related to configuration, reporting, security, integrations, and process optimization.
β’ Proven experience collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to implement technology solutions and enhance operations.
β’ Leadership or people management experience is essential.
β’ Workday certifications are preferred.
