This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.
β’ Collaborate with leaders and teams throughout Cohere's global technology organization.
β’ Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for senior leaders.
β’ Assist in scaling organizations, enhancing leadership, and supporting decisions related to people and teams.
β’ Design organizational structures, roles, and operating models as teams expand.
β’ Provide coaching to senior leaders and enhance leadership effectiveness.
β’ Facilitate discussions regarding performance, talent, succession, and critical talent.
β’ Identify and tackle challenges related to engagement, retention, capability, and team effectiveness.
β’ Convert business priorities into people and organizational strategies.
β’ Help define practices and approaches for the People function as the organization grows.
β’ Work autonomously while managing complex organizational challenges.
β’ Build connections and operate across various locations and time zones.
β’ Report directly to the Head of HR.
β’ Extensive HRBP experience at a senior or Director-level, or equivalent in Head of People scope.
β’ Proven experience collaborating with Engineering, Research, Product, Applied AI, or other technical teams.
β’ Background in a startup, scale-up, or other high-growth environments.
β’ Experience working with leaders and teams across multiple countries and regions.
β’ Outstanding written communication skills.
β’ A collaborative mindset, low-ego, and committed to improving the entire team's performance.
β’ Ability to establish strong relationships and operate effectively across different locations and time zones.
β’ 8+ years of HRBP/strategic People Partner experience (mandatory for application).
β’ Experience collaborating with senior technical leaders (mandatory for application).
β’ Background in startup, scale-up, or significant high-growth environments (mandatory for application).
β’ Global or multi-country experience (mandatory for application).
β’ Authorization to work in the country of current residence.
β’ A weekly lunch stipend of $75/Β£75 or equivalent in local currency.
