Senior Manager, Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, planning, execution, and performance evaluation of both remote and in-person customer training initiatives.

• Act as the senior subject matter expert in UAS industry standards, regulations, and operational practices.

• Develop and lead a scalable training function that enhances customer confidence in Skydio products.

• Create and uphold training programs aligned with relevant industry standards.

• Broaden training outreach through LMS platforms, remote content delivery, and replicable enablement programs.

• Design and oversee multiple simultaneous training plans.

• Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams to customize training programs effectively.

• Facilitate coordination with Training Content, Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and Support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on technical experience with UAS, along with a passion for the field.

• Possession of an FAA Part 107 Certificate is mandatory.

• Familiarity with automated or semi-automated flight planning software is essential.

• Exceptional written communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

• Proven experience in training design, development, and facilitation is required.

• Prior experience in leading UAS or other robotic systems training for enterprise or government clients is highly preferred.

• Strong background in a technical area (e.g., UAS, USV, aviation, robotics, or similarly intricate technology platforms).

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
