This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary owner for designated spending and Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) initiatives.
• Lead the formulation and implementation of all category strategies.
• Collaborate with Sourcing & Corporate Program Managers in creating and executing category strategies.
• Establish the yearly category plan and budget for the specific category, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
• Regularly assess the performance of team members, offering constructive feedback and support for their professional growth.
• Work in conjunction with Country Leads and Procurement Managers within the Regional Sourcing team to develop global category strategies.
• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, supply chain, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, focusing on indirect categories and/or transportation logistics is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role is preferred.
• Certification as a Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM), Certified International Supply Chain Professional (CIPS), APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven expertise in indirect road freight sourcing, carrier markets, and cost-to-serve economics for consumer products networks is essential.
