Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a globally distributed Technical Program Management (TPM) organization spanning North America, EMEA, and APAC, comprising managers, senior TPMs, and distinguished-level TPMs.

• Establish well-defined operating rhythms across various regions and time zones, emphasizing team well-being, individual development, clear accountability, and the quality of execution.

• Guide the TPM organization in the adoption of generative AI and AI-enabled software delivery practices to minimize repetitive tasks, enhance decision-making quality, and expand the scope and effectiveness of TPM roles.

• Oversee TPM portfolio governance within AEC Construction, which includes managing request intake, prioritization, assignment, capacity management, resource trade-offs, and alignment with strategic business objectives.

• Supervise TPM engagement in product delivery, enterprise transformation, and platform/infrastructure initiatives, ensuring that programs have defined ownership, decision paths, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and measurable outcomes.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Platform, Trust, PSET, ESE, and AEC Trust to align priorities, manage interdependencies, address escalations, and ensure that TPM efforts are concentrated on delivering business value.

• Define and monitor metrics that showcase the impact of TPM, enhance intake and reporting processes, and evolve TPM practices so that the team functions as a strategic execution entity rather than just a coordination layer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in technical program management within the software or construction industries, including over 5 years in a leadership capacity managing diverse teams.

• Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to resolve conflicts and build high-performing teams.
