This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with a team of technical professionals to provide remediation services to clients within the Federal sector.
• Execute a range of responsibilities and act as the Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center.
• Oversee and conduct CWM removal under a Fixed Firm Price (FFP) or Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract for USACE.
• Formulate intricate technical strategies and competitive pricing for the identification and removal of Chemical Warfare Materials (CWM) and/or conventional munitions.
• Create CWM work plans and timelines, manage budgets and quality standards, and lead field teams during removal operations in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology, or a related earth science field.
• Over 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Project Manager for federal projects, or equivalent experience and/or education.
• US citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
• Preferred experience with USACE MMRP in conducting CWM remediation operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of USACE EP 75-1-3 and involvement in the development and execution of a DDESB-approved Chemical Safety Submission (CSS) for CWM removal actions.
• Strongly preferred: Over 5 years of experience managing CWM task order work for the USACE Huntsville Center.
• Proven ability to manage projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Familiarity with project financial accounting, reporting, and control mechanisms.
• Strong organizational management skills and capability to perform detail-oriented tasks.
• Experience with MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification.
• Background in managing CWM projects for the USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal.
• Proven skills in proposal writing, particularly for Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals.
• Demonstrated success in marketing and securing work effectively.
• Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR with a focus on CWM requirements and processes.
• Excellent and relevant references.
