Senior Manager – Supply Chain Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Influence the future of technology products that facilitate omnichannel fulfillment.

• Oversee the development of new product applications.

• Propel an iterative feature roadmap aimed at enhancing existing applications and processes.

• Collaborate with users to gain insights into user experience across the application portfolio.

• Engage with distribution center leaders, vendor partners, and IT to comprehend processes and challenges.

• Champion improvements in supply chain processes and technology products.

• Balance business viability, technological feasibility, and user/customer desirability within the product portfolio roadmap.

• Investigate issues, confirm system behavior, conduct root cause analysis, and support data-driven decision-making.

• Resolve issues, implement enhancements, and ensure accountability with third-party vendors and support teams.

• Assist with software implementations, upgrades, and go-live activities.

• Assess emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Lead or assist in user acceptance testing, test plan creation, and commissioning.

• Support or execute warehouse automation and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Operate within Agile delivery frameworks and utilize work management platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 35% nationwide to select CVS Distribution Centers.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT PMO or a similar role, managing or supporting large-scale technology projects.

• More than 5 years of experience utilizing SQL, reporting tools, and operational data for issue investigation, system validation, root cause analysis, and data-driven decisions.

• Knowledge of relational databases, data models, interfaces, and system integrations.

• Familiarity with warehouse management, fulfillment, distribution, inventory management, transportation, or similar supply chain processes.

• Specific experience in e-commerce is required.

• Over 5 years of experience working with third-party software vendors, consulting partners, and support organizations.

• Experience in supporting software implementations, upgrades, and go-live activities in both greenfield and brownfield environments.

• Ability to translate technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capability to evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Experience in user acceptance testing, test plan development, and commissioning.

• Proven skills in project management.

• Experience in supporting or implementing warehouse automation solutions, including conveyor systems, sortation, ASRS, robotics, or goods-to-person technologies.

• Experience in leading or supporting cloud transformation initiatives and migrations from on-premises applications to cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

• Experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Equivalent experience is required.
