This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of the Medtronic Performance System (MPS) within designated functions and business units.
• Collaborate with functional and cross-functional leaders to pinpoint strategic improvement opportunities and set performance targets.
• Achieve quantifiable outcomes that align with organizational objectives and key performance metrics.
• Propel comprehensive process transformation utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Remove waste, boost efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve value stream performance.
• Enhance organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives.
• Conduct Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement sessions.
• Assist in operational transformation efforts involving select suppliers and contract manufacturing partners.
• Create and implement improvement roadmaps focusing on quality, service, cost, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Motivate and inspire change across various functions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Travel approximately 50–75% to promote collaboration and guarantee successful project execution.
• A bachelor's degree and 7+ years of pertinent experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, business operations, operational excellence, or a related area.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proven ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies in complex business settings.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale operational excellence and transformation projects.
• Expertise in applying Lean Six Sigma principles across diverse value streams.
• Skills in change leadership, coaching, and influencing others.
• Strong business, operational, and financial insight.
• Proficient in project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, and converting complex concepts into actionable business results.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization upon hiring and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below Principal level.
