This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee Global Supply Chain Management operations for the Naval Power Mission Area, specifically supporting the production portfolio of Naval Standard Missile Systems.
• Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams regarding production contracts.
• Formulate and execute material strategies.
• Anticipate material needs through forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to cost and schedule requirements.
• Analyze metrics to assess the health of Global Supply Chain Management.
• Evaluate and develop supplier capabilities.
• Create and support Rough Order Magnitudes (ROMs) and proposals.
• Concentrate on supplier well-being, supply chain capability, staffing, and production planning for contracted deliverables.
• Propel processes to successful completion while adhering to an ambitious delivery timeline.
• Enhance operational efficiencies to promote business-area and program success.
• Operate autonomously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Address both strategic and tactical tasks.
• Influence decisions made by team members and program leaders.
• Collaborate across various functions including quality, engineering, operations, and other teams.
• Manage multiple conflicting priorities alongside supplier managers.
• Synthesize information from diverse sources to achieve successful results.
• Evaluate supplier health and capability concerning contracted deliverables.
• Travel extensively to suppliers and frequently to RTX facilities, primarily in Tucson, to engage with stakeholders and internal partners.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one.
• EVMS certification is preferred.
• Experience in leading program management initiatives, addressing challenges, and resolving conflicts is preferred.
• Background in financial management, supplier negotiation techniques, and influencing cost-reduction acceptance is preferred.
• Experience in managing suppliers or projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with supporting supplier production readiness initiatives and capacity assessments is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project is preferred.
