Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement long-term sourcing strategies for high-expenditure categories in Power, Cooling, and Modular Solutions.

• Spot opportunities for global framework agreements and leverage volume benefits.

• Foster strategic supplier collaborations and manage relationships at the executive level.

• Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and promote ongoing enhancements in quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.

• Oversee intricate contract negotiations, from drafting RFPs and evaluating bids to executing MSAs and mitigating risks.

• Explore and assess second-source options to minimize supply chain vulnerabilities.

• Keep abreast of market trends, geopolitical changes, and commodity price variations.

• Take ownership of $/MW performance and spearhead value-engineering initiatives alongside Engineering and Construction to lower total ownership costs.

• Deliver market insights and cost forecasts for capital fundraising and portfolio management.

• Counsel internal and external executive stakeholders on sourcing and commercial strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Global Supply Management, or Category Management.

• Experience in the Data Center or Energy sectors is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations with global Tier-1 industrial suppliers.

• Ability to create leverage in a seller's market.

• Proficient in using data to inform decisions, from detailed Should-Cost analyses to executive-level summaries.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.

• An MBA or JD is a notable advantage.

• Possess technical curiosity.

• Strong advanced negotiation capabilities.

• Capacity to influence internal and external executive stakeholders.

• Comprehension of supply chain as a competitive edge for a data center platform.
