Assistant Category Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Aid in overseeing enterprise solutions within the DEWALT portfolio.

• Propel margin enhancement, portfolio optimization, brand development, and strategy through analytics, insights, and reporting.

• Advise on market pricing and margin expectations.

• Assist in the budget process by monitoring and contributing to budget allocation decisions.

• Create bi-annual category financial P&L forecasts for core and NPD product assortments and margin mixes over a three-year period.

• Comprehend competitive product assortments, industry trends, and the commercial landscape, translating gaps into growth prospects.

• Conduct analysis and define product ranges by brand and retail channel.

• Collaborate with the pricing team to set market-based pricing for NPD and Core SKUs each year.

• Measure the financial consequences of proposed pricing adjustments at both portfolio and customer-account levels.

• Offer strategic advice to cross-functional partners regarding category strategy, pricing, product assortments, margin and growth expectations, and product launch initiatives.

• Represent Stanley Black & Decker to customers and end users.
