This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Maximize value from Addi's aggregator partnership ecosystem by converting signed contracts into compounding GMV growth, merchant activation, and EC originations through comprehensive commercial oversight of each partnership and the operational capability to scale the function.
• Take complete responsibility for a minimum of 2 active partnerships within the first 60 days, managing the commercial relationship, QBR cadence, and escalation processes, while delivering a documented deepening plan for each partner without losing momentum in ongoing negotiations.
• Implement a merchant activation strategy for each partner that fosters quarter-over-quarter improvements in the percentage of merchants actively transacting with Addi, measured across three dimensions: GMV-weighted penetration, transaction count, and unique customer activation.
• Develop bottom-up GMV forecasts by partner and implement acceleration strategies (pricing optimization, co-marketing, merchant incentives, vertical expansion) to ensure partnership-linked GMV outpaces Addi's overall GMV growth rate during the specified period.
• Increase the quarter-over-quarter share of EC originations resulting from partnership channels by identifying and eliminating friction across the awareness → activation → conversion funnel at each integration point.
• Create a structured management cadence (QBRs, joint roadmap, shared scorecard) for every partnership under management, supported by real-time Databricks dashboards that provide the internal team with full visibility into partner health metrics.
• Be recognized consistently by partners and internal stakeholders as the primary coordinator for partnership execution, ensuring timely delivery from Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams, despite not having direct authority.
• Responsible for the complete partnership lifecycle from negotiation to ongoing commercial optimization, with direct accountability for partnership-linked revenue or GMV.
• Has managed end-to-end partnerships: from term sheet to integration to commercial growth.
• Has held a partnership P&L or been directly accountable for a revenue/GMV target associated with partners.
• Knows how to align incentives when the partner has its own sales team, competing priorities, and product roadmap.
• Has experience managing complex multi-stakeholder relationships at a senior executive level, both internally and externally.
• Functions effectively without a playbook — builds processes, executes, and iterates based on results.
• Has developed a partnerships function or playbook from the ground up as a solo contributor or part of a small team.
• Makes decisions with incomplete information and adapts quickly based on data insights.
• Has achieved significant impact in roles where the scope was unclear and the path forward was ambiguous.
• A consulting background or equivalent experience in structured problem-solving under uncertainty is a strong advantage.
• Constructs and defends commercial proposals grounded in unit economics, maintaining firm terms while exploring creative solutions.
• Capable of creating pricing models, revenue share structures, and MDF/CI frameworks from the ground up.
• Understands cost of funds, settlement cycles, and their interactions with partnership economics at scale.
• Has negotiated with C-level partner executives and can present data-driven business cases convincingly.
• Comfortable modeling and stress-testing deal economics with Finance prior to negotiations.
• Actively leverages AI tools to operate at a pace and quality that would typically require a larger team.
• Utilizes Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or equivalent tools daily for analysis, drafting, research, and workflow enhancement.
• Experienced with AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) to automate repetitive tasks.
• Views AI as a fundamental multiplier for an efficient partnerships function rather than a novelty or occasional tool.
• Proactively embraces and masters new tools as they arise without needing direction.
• Possesses business-level fluency in both languages across all professional contexts – written, verbal, and executive.
• Negotiates, presents, and builds relationships with equal effectiveness in both Spanish and English.
• Capable of switching seamlessly between languages based on the audience without losing precision or impact.
• Most partner interactions will occur in Spanish, while C-level and internal strategic discussions will take place in English.
• Has crafted and delivered executive-level presentations and commercial proposals in both languages.
• Utilizes data as the primary resource for identifying opportunities, constructing business cases, and measuring commercial impact.
• Proficient in writing or interpreting SQL queries and working directly with transaction-level datasets.
• Experienced in building or using dashboards in Databricks, Looker, Tableau, or other analytical platforms.
• Has leveraged data to identify underperforming merchant segments and design targeted activation strategies.
• Assesses the impact of every commercial initiative and adjusts strategies based on results rather than intuition alone.
• Has experience in or with fintechs, BNPL, or credit products, understanding the interaction between merchant and consumer economics.
• Understands credit risk concepts, approval funnels, and consumer credit behavior at the point of sale.
• Familiar with payment ecosystems, including acquirers, POS providers, payment orchestrators, and transaction flows.
• Recognizes how settlement cycles, funding costs, and MDF structures influence partnership economics.
• Has experience working within or alongside regulated financial environments (compliance, SFC, or equivalent).
• Has operated in Latin American markets and comprehends the relationship-driven dynamics of conducting business in the region.
• Has experience working in Colombia or a similar LatAm market with direct exposure to local business culture and negotiation norms.
• Familiar with the Colombian payment and retail ecosystem: Credibanco, Redeban, Nequi, Rappi, MercadoPago, etc.
• Understands the regulatory context, including SFC oversight, Habeas Data, and cross-border commerce dynamics.
• Has established and sustained senior-level relationships in LatAm without relying on a large team or brand recognition to open doors.
• Engage in a significant problem – We are transforming how people shop, pay, and bank in Colombia, dismantling financial barriers and empowering millions. Your contributions will directly affect customers' lives by creating more accessible, seamless, and equitable financial services.
• Be part of something substantial from its inception – This is your opportunity to influence a company, shaping everything from our technology and strategy to our culture and values. You won’t just be an employee—you’ll be an owner.
