Senior Manager, Strategic Business Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Managing various workstreams and projects related to program and product ideation and development, market introduction, and execution alongside internal and external partners.

• Leading cross-functional initiatives to assess the current landscape and identify new opportunities for prioritization.

• Orchestrating effective, action-driven planning and execution activities with operations and business line leaders, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment.

• Actively tracking progress and relaying initiative status and delivery pathways, while anticipating and addressing issues and proposing solutions.

• Offering prompt strategic advisory and execution assistance across Aetna Business Operations and various lines of business, including Commercial and Medicaid.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of pertinent work experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related sector, or completion of the General Management Development Program (GMDP) combined with relevant experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic business planning or program/project management.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the capability to effectively structure information, conduct data analysis, and synthesize insights.

• Strong communication skills at the executive level, with the ability to convey concise and decision-focused messaging for senior leadership.

• Proven ability to lead and exemplify strategic planning and thorough execution oversight consistently.

• Excellent relationship management skills and a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
