This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Engage with high-priority cross-functional projects and guide them from uncertainty to successful completion
• Convert broad objectives into detailed deliverables, responsible parties, inputs, dependencies, decision points, critical paths, and definitions of completion
• Recognize stalled tasks, address or redirect constraints, and provide recovery strategies
• Develop models, trackers, forecasts, scenario analyses, and decision-support tools using Excel and Google Sheets
• Investigate vendors, competitors, markets, tools, retailer requirements, operational queries, and unfamiliar business challenges, then convert findings into actionable recommendations
• Ensure visibility across brand, product, retail, promotional, and marketing schedules while identifying dependencies or conflicts
• Step in on urgent projects, coordinate parallel workstreams, and meet business deadlines
• Translate leadership guidance into actionable briefs for Creative, E-Commerce, agencies, vendors, and internal teams
• Identify unnecessary complexities and redesign workflows for increased speed and accountability
• Deliver concise reports on priority initiatives, commitments, project status, risks, decisions, recovery actions, and next steps
• Lead high-priority special projects that span multiple functions
• Ensure final deliverables are accurate, approved, properly handed off, and functional
• Conduct postmortems, identify root causes, and enhance SOPs, workflows, automation, lead times, or controls
• Evaluate capacity and resource limitations and suggest solutions
• Collaborate directly with functional contributors while keeping the Senior Director of Operations updated on priority conflicts and significant risks
• Around 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategic operations, management consulting, a founder’s office, growth-stage company operations, marketplace or e-commerce operations, or another analytical execution role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning, scenario analysis, and producing executive-ready outputs
• Strong quantitative reasoning skills and a proven ability to address business inquiries using incomplete or fragmented data
• Proven ownership of complex cross-functional projects from ambiguous requests through to completed deliverables
• Exceptional written communication skills, including briefs, decision summaries, action plans, and updates for executives
• Strong abilities in research, synthesis, prioritization, and problem-solving
• Capability to influence and ensure accountability without relying on formal authority
• Ability to manage multiple unrelated workstreams while maintaining speed, accuracy, and follow-through
• Evidence of significantly accelerating work, eliminating operational constraints, or enhancing recurring workflows
• Keen attention to detail without compromising speed
• Practical understanding of artificial intelligence and automated workflows to enhance data synthesis, project documentation, and cross-functional delivery, ensuring speed is balanced with thorough verification and human oversight
