Business Systems Analysis Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Enhance Cisco’s value measurement capabilities and create uniform expectations, practices, and reporting for value delivery throughout Operations.

• Utilize AI for root cause analysis and SDLC standards across development tools to accelerate delivery speed.

• Facilitate alignment of Business Entities and prioritize capabilities to enhance delivery focus.

• Guide and collaborate with Operations teams to build, lead, and scale strong capabilities.

• Evaluate end-to-end cycle-time performance and uncover hidden sources of latency and bottlenecks.

• Offer recommendations to enhance operational velocity.

• Develop and expand AI-augmented analytical capabilities, such as value retrospectives, predictive progress insights, and portfolio-level data-quality resolution.

• Support performance management and forward-thinking decision-making.

• Work alongside operations leaders, development teams, IT partners, product teams, technical guides, and strategy partners in a matrixed environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Business Systems Analysis, Business Process or Operations Management, Data Science, or related fields at an enterprise scale.

• Demonstrated increasing technical responsibility.

• Effective collaboration across matrixed Operations, IT, Strategy, and Product teams.

• Capability to translate complex technical data into straightforward, actionable business recommendations.

• Proficiency in AI-driven analytics and advanced AI development best practices.

• Experience with root cause analysis, predictive insights, and data-quality resolution.

• Strong skillset in analyzing development metrics from GitHub and SonarQube.

• Experience in predictive analytics and automation for optimizing SDLC processes.

• Ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks and dependencies in complex operational workflows.

• Competence in validating AI-generated outputs and ensuring data integrity.

• Skill in implementing optimization strategies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of AI-augmented decision tools.

• Preferred: leadership experience in enterprise value measurement, capability management, business execution, or portfolio governance.

• Preferred: experience in leading strategic operations, business execution, value management, portfolio management, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Preferred: ability to define, measure, and communicate business value, outcomes, and performance metrics.

• Preferred: experience in capability prioritization, value management reporting, or large-scale agile planning and execution.

• Preferred: proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency, value realization, cycle time, or delivery predictability.

• Preferred: experience in developing scalable frameworks, standard processes, and enablement approaches.
