Senior Manager, Strategic Advisory – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead significant workstreams within supply chain strategy and advisory projects for major retailers.

• Convert high-level strategic goals into structured analyses, hypotheses, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with Strategy Advisors to co-develop retailer strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.

• Facilitate problem-solving sessions and ensure internal alignment on critical design choices.

• Serve as the primary day-to-day client liaison for designated areas of the engagement.

• Assist in crafting executive-level narratives, including the synthesis of insights and their implications.

• Participate in proposal development, scoping, and estimation processes.

• Lead efforts in internal capability building, asset development, and mentoring initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in supply chain operations, consulting, or transformation roles within or advising leading retailers.

• Proven track record in leading strategy workstreams or engagements.

• Demonstrated success in working directly with senior client stakeholders.

• Strong history of producing executive-ready strategy deliverables.

• Experience in coaching and reviewing the work of junior consultants.

• Ability to influence without direct authority and collaborate across various functions.

• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain strategy, transformation, and operating models.

• Advanced analytical and problem-structuring skills.

• Capability to independently frame problems and formulate strategic recommendations.

• Excellent executive communication and storytelling abilities.

• Experience in leading workstreams and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

• Sound judgment in balancing strategic ambition with execution feasibility.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous, fast-paced client environments.
