Senior Manager, Sourcing - Electronics

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement the category strategy for plastics, encompassing general assembly, extrusion, and catheter assembly, in line with business and product roadmap priorities.

• Develop a comprehensive sourcing strategy that includes supplier segmentation, cost optimization, and planning for long-term supply continuity.

• Negotiate and establish intricate commercial agreements, such as long-term contracts, volume commitments, and pricing structures with essential strategic suppliers.

• Utilize market intelligence and industry trends to guide sourcing decisions, focusing on advancements in plastics technology, material innovations, and supplier capabilities.

• Collaborate across departments with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure sourcing strategies are in harmony with product development and manufacturing needs.

• Discover and implement opportunities for value creation, including cost reductions, risk management, and supplier consolidation initiatives.

• Confirm that all sourcing operations, contracts, and supplier interactions comply with company policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, category management, procurement, or supply chain roles.

• Proven experience in leading complex negotiations and managing strategic supplier partnerships.

• Demonstrated experience in driving sourcing initiatives within intricate, engineered, or materials-based supply markets, with a preference for plastics experience.

• Familiarity with employing analytics and AI tools to assess supply markets, support data-driven negotiations, and achieve measurable business outcomes (preferred).
