Senior Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee engineering for the Entri “schedule maximizer” and “order facilitator” systems.

• Maintain close engagement with technology while guiding the team by directing architecture, contributing to design choices, and tackling complex production challenges.

• Spearhead the modernization of outdated desktop applications into scalable SaaS offerings, while promoting the use of the enterprise data platform to enhance performance and system efficiency.

• Foster the development of engineers through mentorship, coaching, and structured knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate in a pod-based structure where engineering and product teams jointly impact roadmap decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and mentoring software engineering teams.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and constructing scalable, distributed systems (including microservices architecture) utilizing agile delivery methodologies.

• Strong backend proficiency in C#/.NET or Java, with familiarity in modern web applications and SaaS platforms.

• Demonstrated capability to function as a hands-on technical leader in architecture, design, and problem-solving.

• Experience in developing engineering professionals with high standards, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement, quality, and planning.

• Proven track record of partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for customers.
