This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of approximately 5–6 software engineers and software test engineers.
• Cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with recruitment to attract and secure exceptional engineering talent.

• Work closely with Product, Design, and platform engineering teams to transform customer needs into scalable software solutions.
• Assist in developing and implementing a roadmap that prioritizes customer impact, technical excellence, and long-term platform sustainability.
• Guide your team through planning, execution, and delivery while maintaining a high standard for quality.
• Navigate through uncertainty — organizing the work, minimizing risks, and adjusting based on insights from real users.
• Coordinate across various engineering teams contributing to a unified product vision — a significant aspect of this role is facilitating work that spans team boundaries.
• Clearly communicate priorities, risks, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build partnerships that foster alignment and execution throughout the organization.
• Provide technical direction and architectural insights while empowering engineers to manage implementation details.
• Advocate for modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, observability, automated testing, and scalable system design.
• Promote the development of highly reliable, maintainable, and secure software.
• Encourage best practices in usability, accessibility, and front-end architecture as the team develops customer-facing experiences and a scalable design system.
• Foster a growth mindset and a culture of continuous learning.
• Inspire experimentation, thoughtful problem-solving, and learning from incidents.
• Cultivate transparency, ownership, and customer impact across the team.
• Support knowledge sharing and technical excellence across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including both software engineers and software test engineers.
• Proven track record of building and delivering enterprise-scale, customer-facing software products.
• Strong grasp of modern software development practices, including cloud platforms, CI/CD, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through uncertainty while balancing execution and technical quality.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven success in building high-performing teams and delivering impactful software.
