Senior Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct multiple software engineering teams.

• Establish clear objectives and priorities that align with both departmental and organizational goals.

• Develop and implement departmental strategies, including resource allocation, budgeting, and technology integration.

• Collaborate with department leaders and executives to ensure software initiatives are in line with the company's strategic direction.

• Promote innovation and technical excellence within the software engineering division.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to software managers and organizational leaders.

• Supervise complex software projects, monitor their progress, and address any challenges.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for ongoing improvement.

• Engage in the hiring and onboarding processes.

• Establish and assess performance goals to attract and retain top talent.

• Create strategies for risk mitigation.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training is required.

• Over 8 years of experience in software development.

• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading software teams.

• Exceptional leadership qualities.

• Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection is necessary for remote/hybrid work.
