Senior Manager – Software Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise the Application Development team

• Lead initiatives to modernize outdated systems while maintaining business continuity

• Implement AI-enhanced development methodologies to boost productivity and enhance code quality

• Incorporate low-code/no-code platforms and business rules engines into development processes

• Propel technical innovation and make key architectural decisions

• Oversee project portfolios, timelines, and resource management

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions and initiatives align with business goals

• Guide and mentor developers working on both legacy and modern applications

• Formulate and execute strategies for modernizing legacy systems

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in application development

• 3+ years of experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems

• At least 1 year of experience utilizing AI/ML tools in development

• 3+ years of experience with a major public cloud platform such as GCP

• 1+ years of experience with Docker/Kubernetes

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and business rules engines

• Proven track record in leading digital transformation projects

• Proficiency in modern development frameworks and programming languages

• Understanding of cloud technologies

• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience through a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience
