
Senior Manager, Sales Talent Assessment Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Collaborate with sales hiring managers to refine interview strategies based on applicant assessment insights.
• Provide coaching to leaders prior to interviews, assisting them in creating focused questions and objective evaluation criteria.
• Partner with business leaders, HR, and recruiting teams to identify trends and enhance sales hiring practices.
• Participate in field visits to gain firsthand understanding of each business’s model and strategy.
• Enhance BD's reputation as a reliable partner in healthcare by identifying exceptional sales talent to join our team.
• Establish benchmarks in sales hiring by facilitating confident and consistent decision-making, supported by assessment data and competency-based interview insights.
• Elevate interview quality through coaching that enhances competency probing, clarifies evaluation standards, and minimizes bias and variability across teams.
• Convert assessment trends into actionable guidance that evolves hiring best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in medical technology or healthcare within a large matrixed organization.
• Proven knowledge and experience with assessment tools, including the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) and sales competency frameworks, to evaluate sales talent.
• Experience in coaching leaders and providing clear, actionable feedback.
• Demonstrated capacity to navigate complexity and ambiguity, with a proven track record of challenging assumptions and driving change.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 15% of the time.
