Senior Manager, Sales Engineering – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand the sales engineering team for the core product line, including the Gen AI sector, throughout the US region.

• Collaborate with GTM Sales Leaders, Product Management, and Engineering to implement strategic solutions and finalize deals for customers and partners.

• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate the sales engineering workforce.

• Enhance and scale sales engineering processes, encompassing discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and clients to devise and present business solutions that promote revenue growth.

• Advocate for and support the Zscaler portfolio through value-based selling in a matrixed environment.

• Report directly to the Director of Sales Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated enthusiasm and proactive exploration of AI tools, with a verifiable history of integrating new technologies into everyday workflows and problem-solving.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Established track record in sales or systems engineering.

• Experience in managing and directing a sales engineering team.

• Background in mentoring, coaching, and developing talent.

• Technical proficiency in cybersecurity and networking.

• Capacity to communicate value-based selling within a matrixed GTM environment.

• Preferred: experience with Zscaler or competing solutions.

• Preferred: in-depth understanding of SaaS-based technologies and regulatory compliance.

• Preferred: experience with extensive GTM and Partner Ecosystems in a matrix environment.
