This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise, mentor, and enhance the skills of a team of Sales Engineers, promoting technical proficiency, customer focus, and effective execution throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to identify new customer opportunities, delivering strategic technical advice and ensuring consistent, high-quality pre-sales interactions across the region.
• Manage and support customer interactions related to Cohesity’s Data Cloud offerings, including backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security, ensuring solutions meet customer business and technical needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance on RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and intricate deal processes, positioning Cohesity as a strategic choice for enterprise backup, ransomware recovery, cyber vaulting, and disaster recovery.
• Influence and assist in formulating secondary storage and data protection strategies for large enterprise clients and partners, establishing Cohesity as the primary provider for modern data security and cyber resilience.
• Guarantee the delivery of impactful product demonstrations, executive presentations, technical workshops, and proofs of concept, focusing on ransomware defense, cyber resilience, and swift recovery.
• Serve as a vital feedback conduit between customers, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to inform roadmap priorities and market execution strategies.
• Robust background in enterprise data security, cyber recovery, cyber resilience, or data protection and compliance domains, with experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling Sales Engineering teams that support enterprise infrastructure, data protection, or security solutions.
• Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop technical talent, promoting consistent performance, career advancement, and customer impact.
• Ability to engage effectively with executive-level stakeholders, influencing technical strategies, business outcomes, and long-term partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are a plus.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools and insights to enhance team productivity, decision-making, and execution at scale.
• Proficient in professional English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to support customers, partners, and team development.
