Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of revenue recognition processes in alignment with ASC 606 standards.

• Act as the primary subject matter expert for the company regarding ASC 606 and ASC 340-40.

• Collaborate closely with Technical Accounting on intricate arrangements.

• Supervise the Contracts organization responsible for evaluating signed customer agreements.

• Manage amendments, renewals, and modifications of contracts.

• Ensure robust controls and operational efficiency throughout the complete contract-to-revenue lifecycle.

• Work in partnership with Finance Transformation and Business Systems to enhance quote-to-cash processes.

• Promote continuous improvement in contract processing, billing setup, revenue workflows, and reporting.

• Collaborate with Accounting Leadership on revenue integration strategies for acquired companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

• CPA designation is highly preferred.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in accounting.

• Extensive knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340-40 is essential.

• Significant experience in SaaS revenue accounting, including subscription and recurring revenue models.

• Proven experience leading accounting or revenue operations teams.

• Background in supporting acquisitions and external audits is necessary.

• Strong focus on operational efficiency and process orientation.
