Senior Manager – Retail Business Consultant – Supply Chain Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee offshore teams executing supply chain analytics and data migration projects.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of objectives and deliverables.

• Engage with senior client stakeholders at the Director/VP level to grasp business context and define analytics strategies.

• Decompose complex issues into structured tasks spanning business analysis, data science, and engineering domains.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to business analysts and data professionals.

• Design and architect scalable frameworks and solutions for data analytics.

• Implement techniques in Machine Learning, AI, Optimization, and Operations Research.

• Create and maintain predictive and prescriptive models within enterprise production settings.

• Develop and deploy tools for simulation, optimization, and scenario planning.

• Extract, transform, and organize large datasets using SQL and related instruments.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver data-driven solutions.

• Uphold standards for data quality, validation, and governance.

• Convert intricate analytical results into practical business insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–14 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in business/data analytics.

• Essential experience in the Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.

• Strong background in Ecommerce Merchandising Strategy and Supply Chain.

• Familiarity with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Shipping, and Inventory Management processes.

• Ability to effectively engage and influence executive and VP-level stakeholders.

• Proven project and team leadership capabilities.

• Experience in driving comprehensive delivery across global, cross-functional teams.

• Solid foundation in statistical methods and machine learning techniques.

• Proficient in analyzing complex datasets and generating actionable insights.

• Skillful in structuring ambiguous business challenges into clear, data-driven analytical frameworks.

• Strong practical expertise in Python and SQL.

• Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI.
