
Senior Manager, Registration & Guest Communications – Event Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Take ownership and manage the comprehensive registration program for around 24 races each year.
• Develop, update, and sustain event-specific registration details.
• Act as the primary manager of the Swoogo registration platform.
• Generate, evaluate, and enhance registration content, guest instructions, confirmations, reminders, platform text, and FAQs.
• Handle attendee data, including guest lists, dietary requirements, access levels, and essential program information.
• Engage with guests to resolve registration problems, rectify submissions, and collect any missing information.
• Monitor registration progress and provide status updates to internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate registration, event operations, and guest experiences across various teams.
• Assist with merchandise fulfillment processes for each race when located in Charlotte.
• Supervise junior staff responsible for packing and distributing merchandise.
• Prepare registration reports, attendee summaries, itineraries, and client-facing materials.
• Lead or assist in internal and client meetings regarding registration timelines, status, and next steps.
• Enhance registration processes, tools, communication templates, and platform workflows.
• Assess registration performance after events and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to broader event tasks with a focus on registration and merchandise coordination rather than on-site hospitality.
• Report directly to the Senior Director, Hospitality & Events.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event registration, event technology, program management, or platform-based operations.
• Practical experience with registration platforms; Swoogo is preferred, but Cvent, Bizzabo, or similar platforms are also acceptable.
• Extensive experience in writing, editing, and reviewing registration content and guest-facing communications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, accuracy-oriented workflows.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven capability to manage large volumes of attendee data and complex registration needs.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple races, timelines, and communication channels simultaneously.
• Experience in supporting corporate events or hospitality programs is preferred.
• Comfort in a platform-focused role without travel obligations.
