This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a marketing strategy for events that aligns with business goals and revenue objectives.
• Assess industry events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements based on their strategic importance and anticipated ROI.
• Develop and oversee the annual event calendar in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Define objectives, KPIs, and metrics for measuring event success.
• Lead the comprehensive planning and execution of trade shows, customer events, executive programs, and industry conferences.
• Handle contracts, vendors, venues, exhibits, travel arrangements, shipping, and onsite logistics.
• Ensure that events are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet brand standards.
• Prepare internal stakeholders with necessary communications, logistics, messaging, and expectations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and executive teams.
• Work alongside Sales and BDR teams to enhance lead generation, engagement, and follow-up after events.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with vendors, agencies, and strategic partners.
• Analyze event performance based on pipeline influence, lead quality, engagement, attendance, and ROI.
• Provide post-event analyses with suggestions for enhancements.
• Oversee event budgets, forecasts, contracts, purchase orders, and expenditures.
• Enhance processes, boost efficiency, and scale the event program.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, or integrated marketing.
• Proven experience in planning and executing trade shows, conferences, customer events, or related marketing initiatives.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
• Knowledge of project management tools like Asana or similar platforms.
• Experience utilizing event management software and marketing technology platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong business insight and understanding of how events contribute to marketing and revenue goals.
• Strategic mindset with outstanding project management and organizational abilities.
• Competence in data analysis and using insights to enhance marketing performance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to influence and work collaboratively across various teams.
• Robust negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail and dedication to delivering exceptional experiences.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and drives projects to completion.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on business and event requirements.
• Capability to occasionally lift or transport materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods during event setup, exhibit hours, and teardown.
• Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, push, pull, and manage event equipment as necessary.
• Experience in marketing to associations, nonprofits, or SaaS organizations is preferred.
• Experience in supporting executive-level customer events is preferred.
• Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) or integrated campaign execution is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
