This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all real estate aspects related to renewable energy initiatives.

• Manage all title-related issues, including preliminary searches, negotiations of proforma, and securing all necessary endorsements and policies for financial closure.

• Maintain relationships with title insurance companies.

• Commission and evaluate ALTA surveys.

• Resolve all title issues required for the issuance of title policies, including oversight of external resources such as consultants and legal professionals.

• Prepare and review lease agreements.

• Execute lease options and purchase agreements.

• Acquire all necessary easements and crossing agreements in collaboration with the project developer.

• Support the commercial team in conducting real estate due diligence.

• Assist the Finance and Legal teams with real estate due diligence.

• Organize the real estate data room.

• Manage all negotiations with the title company.

• Secure title policies and endorsements.

• Obtain all necessary estoppels, affidavits, and other required documents from both debt and equity sources.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a real estate paralegal or in a title company.

• At least eight years of experience in title and survey-related tasks, including reviewing title commitments, negotiating title policies, curative work, leasing, and real estate transactions.

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• Experience in real estate development, particularly within renewable energy projects.

• Skilled in drafting and reviewing real estate and title curative documents.

• Proficient in reviewing title work and surveys.

• Strong organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines without compromising work quality.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, depending on the context.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.

• Requires a solid understanding of legal and real estate terminology.

• Strong organizational, communication, and management skills.

• Demonstrated experience in effectively engaging with peers, subordinates, management, and external parties.

• Detail-oriented, creative, intuitive, precise, diligent, and professional.

• Highly motivated self-starter with a friendly disposition and a good team player.
