This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive QA strategy throughout the platform and customer-facing delivery, overseeing a globally distributed team of QA engineers.
• Establish and uphold quality governance for regulated financial institutions, which includes setting standards for test strategy, coverage metrics, release criteria, and providing audit-ready evidence.
• Manage incident response for quality-related challenges, encompassing triage, root cause analysis, preventive measures, and post-incident communications.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance test automation, CI/CD release gating, and regression coverage for a real-time, high-throughput platform.
• Work alongside Professional Services and Post-Sales teams to facilitate UAT, structured acceptance testing, and integration validation for bank and enterprise deployments.
• Influence engineering culture and maintain elevated quality standards across the organization.
• Lead a globally distributed QA team focused on web, mobile, and manual testing.
• Over 8 years of experience in software quality.
• At least 2 years of experience managing QA or Quality Engineering teams.
• Proven experience in overseeing quality in regulated domains such as banking, payments, or fintech.
• Familiar with audits, UAT, and documented test governance practices.
• Experience in test automation, CI/CD gating, and measuring coverage.
• Background in structured manual and exploratory testing.
• Practical experience in building test automation using Cypress or similar tools.
• Demonstrated success in creating high-performing, distributed teams across various time zones and cultures.
• Metrics-oriented mindset; adept at defining and reporting quality KPIs.
