• Establish a proposal management practice that enhances the quality of proposals and aligns with Nava's growth objectives.
• Guide Nava Client Solutions Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and reviewers through well-organized proposal processes; effectively involve Nava leadership (Contracts, Staffing, etc.) and teaming partners at the appropriate times with the necessary information.
• Write proposal content, including descriptions of Nava's past performance and capabilities.
• Oversee multiple proposal efforts simultaneously without compromising clarity or quality.
• Create and maintain a compliance checklist for each opportunity, incorporating evaluation criteria, required forms, and contractual documents.
• Curate, organize, and develop 'evergreen' content that highlights Nava's capabilities, projects, and contemporary practices.
• A seasoned professional with over 4 years of experience managing large solicitation responses for federal, state, and local clients.
• Background in the Government Contracting IT sector, with experience in proposals/procurements and a solid understanding of the US Federal Government or general State Governments.
• Must possess government proposal experience and a comprehensive understanding of terminology, acronyms, and the application of NAICS and FAR.
• Familiarity with the cyclical requirements, timelines, and expectations of Federal business development, proposals, and contractors.
• Excellent professional writing, editing, and communication skills in English, with the ability to represent Nava professionally at industry and networking events.
• Proven experience in developing and refining consistent and effective Proposal Management processes.
• Experience in crafting proposals that support modern digital services, custom development, or highly specialized solutions.
• Expertise in curating and building high-value, broadly applicable 'evergreen' content.
• Experience in creating or collaborating with experts to convert complex concepts into engaging graphical content.
• Ability to lead a multi-vendor team towards a successful bid by providing structure while remaining adaptable to new information and incorporating team input and feedback.
• A demonstrated ability to cultivate order, calm, and accountability through an efficient proposal management practice.
