This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develops and enhances distribution within selected independent, high-end on-premise (“lighthouse”) accounts.

• Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with sommeliers, beverage directors, and key decision-makers.

• Drives placements on wine lists, by-the-glass programs, and highlighted menu activations.

• Executes against established sales, distribution, and volume objectives for the luxury portfolio.

• Identifies new account opportunities and prioritizes them based on brand alignment and strategic significance.

• Delivers tailored in-market experiences, such as staff training sessions, wine dinners, and consumer-facing events.

• Represents the portfolio through engaging storytelling that emphasizes heritage, craftsmanship, and exclusivity.

• Collaborates with accounts to create premium consumer touchpoints that generate trial, awareness, and loyalty.

• Works alongside distributor sales teams to prioritize coverage and execution for luxury accounts.

• Provides guidance on account targeting, call planning, and in-market initiatives.

• Supports distributor education efforts to enhance understanding of the luxury portfolio and selling techniques.

• Collaborates with National Accounts, Wholesale Sales, and Marketing to align on priorities and programs.

• Partners with Sales Insights to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and refine account strategies.

• Offers market feedback on trends, competitive activities, and account needs to inform broader strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree and/or equivalent relevant experience, such as on-premise sales representative; and/or comprehensive knowledge of the wine industry, including in-depth understanding of wine sales, varietals, regions, and leading categories.

• 5-8+ years of experience within the wine industry.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient math and computer skills.

• Strong presentation and administrative capabilities.

• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Willingness to travel throughout the territory 100% of the time.

• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state vehicle registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
