This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Partner Operations Specialists by providing feedback, setting clear expectations, and fostering career growth.
• Create operational frameworks for both current and future product partnerships within Banking and Expansion.
• Enhance documentation, knowledge management, and communication processes.
• Spearhead organizational change initiatives related to processes, tools, and operational models.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Customer Support, and external banking partners to tackle operational challenges.
• Set performance metrics to assess operational health, partner satisfaction, and team effectiveness.
• Lead strategic planning, prioritization, and resource management efforts.
• Promote scalable tools and workflows, including Linear and other operational systems.
• Advocate for the team and foster alignment among stakeholders.
• Contribute to shaping Mercury’s long-term strategy for product partnerships.
• Over 7 years of experience in leading operational programs within a fintech, financial institution, or similarly intricate and highly regulated setting.
• More than 3 years of experience in leading and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Proven success in collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, cross-functional business leaders, and executives on strategic projects.
• Experience in managing operational change and building consensus among stakeholders with differing priorities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• History of designing scalable operational systems that minimize complexity and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Capability to balance long-term strategic goals with immediate operational demands.
• Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with composure.
• Strong desire to utilize tools, automation, and process design effectively.
• Skill in cultivating trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• A strong emphasis on operational quality and sustainable solutions.
