This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Secondary Surveillance Radar portfolio.
• Convert customer requirements and market dynamics into product specifications and investment priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering to steer feature development and prioritize decisions based on ROI, timelines, and market opportunities.
• Create business cases, establish product pricing, prioritize the roadmap, and assist in long-term planning.
• Oversee product lifecycle management from the development of new products and feature launches through to sustainment and obsolescence planning.
• Represent the product team in customer interactions, proposals, and industry events.
• Keep track of the competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
• Act as the leader of the integrated product management team across engineering, supply chain, program management, and business development.
• Influence the future of air traffic surveillance within Collins Aerospace’s CNS portfolio.
• Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management or closely related fields.
• Experience in leading products or programs within complex systems, aerospace, defense, or regulated high-reliability sectors.
• Proven track record with product-level financials, including forecasting, pricing, business cases, and margin analysis.
• Established ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without company-sponsored immigration now or in the future.
• Familiarity with ground-based or airborne radar systems, air traffic management systems, or surveillance technologies such as Mode S, ADS-B, or multilateration.
• Knowledge of FAA, ICAO, Eurocontrol, or EASA regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer engagement capabilities.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts into clear, market-driven product direction.
• Previous experience in aviation infrastructure, defense systems, or mission-critical technologies.
