This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from federal, state, foundation, and commercial organizations to pinpoint risks, trends, and discrepancies.
• Contribute to the creation of compliant business proposals.
• Maintain a comprehensive strategic pricing database.
• Analyze RFP cost and business requirements while engaging in the development of pricing strategies and methodologies.
• Create Microsoft Excel pricing templates that meet solicitation requirements and adhere to AIR pricing standards.
• Provide support to internal staff, consultants, subcontractors, and external partners.
• Accurately prepare required cost proposal schedules in a timely manner.
• Examine submitted pricing data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, reasonableness, and compliance with AIR guidelines.
• Facilitate necessary pricing modifications as required.
• Collaborate with Business Development professionals regarding business volume requirements.
• Review and manage cost proposal files and databases.
• Assist in establishing a network of cost proposal-related files and databases, integrating information into strategic development.
• Monitor pricing environments and industry trends, communicating insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Aid in creating intelligence-based pricing standards, strategies, and best practices throughout the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in proposal pricing for federal government, state government, and foundation solicitations.
• Proven knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Cost Accounting Standards.
• Familiarity with various contract types, including firm fixed price, cost reimbursement, time & materials, grants, and cooperative agreements.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a virtual setting.
• Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strategic thinking complemented by robust tactical execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to synthesize disparate ideas into cohesive solutions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Extensive experience in developing reports from large data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Experience in managing complex budgets.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• May need to fulfill specific residency requirements based on project work.
